O pouso inesperado de uma Joaninha na menina Laila é o mote de VOU- EU, espetáculo idealizado e interpretado pela atriz
Thais Pimpão. A ideia da obra, que teve apoio do PROAC Editais e estreou no SESC Pinheiros (São Paulo / Capital) em 2016, surgiu do encontro da atriz com uma joaninha em um festival internacional de teatro na Holanda no ano de 2006.
Thais, cercada de artistas de outros países, foi apresentada às outras formas que a joaninha era chamada: “coccinelle”, “lieveheersbeestje”, “ladybug”, “mariquita”. O interesse por esse inseto e a universalidade da crença de que o encontro com ele significa sorte e amor, trouxe força para a artista transformar esse encontro em teatro. Thais convidou Gustavo Kurlat, que já a havia dirigido em “Uma trilha para sua história” para escrever, dirigir e musicar a obra.
VOU-EU fala de encontros. Laila - que acabou de aprender a ler e escrever - recebe a visita inesperada de uma Joaninha curiosa e juntas brincam, cantam suas histórias e trocam inquietações sobre aprendizagens, afetos, medos, descobertas, origens e universalidades.

The unexpected landing of a ladybug on the girl Laila is the motto of VOU-EU, a play created and acted by the actress Thais Pimpão. The idea behind the work, which was supported by PROAC and had it´s premiere at SESC Pinheiros (São Paulo /Brazil) in 2016, came from an actual encounter the actress had with a ladybug at an international theatre festival in the Netherlands in 2006.
Thais was surrounded by artists from other countries, when she was introduced to the many ways a ladybug is called: “coccinelle”, “lieveheersbeestje”, “ladybug”, “mariquita”. The interest on this insect and the universal belief that meeting a ladybug means good luck and love, gave strength to the actress’s idea to transform the encounter in a theatrical piece. Thais invited Gustavo Kurlat, whom had already directed her in “Uma trilha para sua história” (“A track for your history”), to write, direct and compose the music for the play.
VOU-EU speaks of encounters. Laila - who has just learnt how to read and write - is unexpectedly visited by a curious ladybug and together they play, sing their stories and exchange worries about learning, affection, fears, discoveries, origins and universalities.
From this casual encounter a truthful and transforming friendship is born, even if short.
